Wozniak sworn in as senator of Macomb’s 8th District

LANSING, Mich. — State Sen. Doug Wozniak was sworn in as senator of the 8th Senate District on Wednesday during a ceremony at the state Capitol.

Wozniak previously served three years as the state representative for the 36th House District.

“I am grateful to the people of Macomb County for entrusting me with the responsibility to represent them in the Michigan Senate,” said Wozniak, R-Shelby Township. “I am eager to join my new Senate Republican colleagues in working to restore the economic health and pre-pandemic way of life to the 8th District and the state.”
