Wozniak announces new Senate committee assignments

LANSING, Mich. — State Sen. Doug Wozniak announced Wednesday he will serve on five standing Senate committees, representing the people of Macomb County.

“I am grateful for the trust and confidence that Senate Majority Leader Shirkey has demonstrated by providing me with so many important committee assignments,” said Wozniak, R-Shelby Township. “These Senate bodies deal with some of the most important issues facing our state, and I am eager to get to work shaping and enacting policies that will make our communities and the state even better places to live, work and thrive.”

The senator will serve on the Energy and Technology; Transportation and Infrastructure; Judiciary and Public Safety; Oversight; and Families, Seniors, and Veterans committees.
